Health Insurance

Student Visa applicants MUST have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their studies in Australia.

UQC can arrange OSHC on your behalf, our provider Overseas Student Health Cover provided by Allianz Care. If you would like to purchase OSHC from another provider, you will need to arrange your own OSHC directly with that provider.

There are a number of different types of OSHC policy depending on your circumstances.

*Single OSHC (covers only the student visa holder).

*Dual Family OSHC (covers one student visa holder plus either one adult spouse or recognised de facto partner or one or more children or under the age of 18 years who are not married).

*Multi Family OSHC (covers one student visa holder plus more than one dependent, which can only include one adult spouse or recognised de facto and one or more dependent children under the age of 18).
